What we set
The following items are strictly necessary for the operation of this website. They are not used to build a profile of any visitor and are not disclosed to third parties.

No further items are set unless you consent to them. This website carries no advertising, no remarketing and no social media tracking. Typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a third party, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to any other party.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure which pages are read. It does not operate unless you consent to it in the cookie notice.
Where consent is not given, no request is made to Google and no Google script is loaded on the page. The tag is not loaded in a suppressed state; it is not loaded at all. This remains the position where no choice has been made, and where analytics has been declined.

The advertising features of Google Analytics are disabled. The data is not used for remarketing, is not shared with Google's advertising products, and we do not operate advertising on any platform.
Google is established outside the United Republic of Tanzania. Consent to analytics therefore involves the transfer of data concerning your visit outside the country, which is addressed in Data location and transfers outside Tanzania. Where analytics is declined, no such transfer occurs.
On withdrawal of consent the tag is disabled and both cookies identified above are deleted from your browser.
Withdrawing or changing consent
Use the cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Declining requires a single action and is presented with equal prominence to accepting. Consent is recorded for six months, after which you will be asked again.
Browser controls
All common browsers allow you to view what a website has stored, delete it, and block cookies entirely. Blocking all cookies will end any authenticated session and will prevent the contact form and the job application form from being submitted, as the verification described above cannot run. The remainder of the public pages are unaffected.
